The story began when the founder of COOLA, Chris Birchby, inspired by California's hip, sporty lifestyle, was looking for a suitable sunscreen. He was looking for products that felt comfortable enough for daily use, offered effective protection and did not damage the skin. Nothing on the market convinced him, so he founded COOLA.

COOLA offers sun protection and sun care with at least 70 % organic ingredients and in different consistencies as well as with UV filters from factor 30 to 50. The nourishing sprays, creams, lotions and serums offer a luxurious feel, and are water-resistant and reef-friendly.

The product range is vegan and PETA-certified.

What's more, the following ingredients are forgone: Parabens, phthalates, silicone, sulphates (SLS/SLES), synthetic fragrances, EDTA, formaldehyde, hydroquinone, lanolin, mineral oil, paraffin, polyacrylamide, talc, BHA & BHT, phenoxyethanol, octinoxate, oxybenzone, petrolatum, petrochemicals, nuts
